What are University Extension Units?

The University of California, Irvine, Extension in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education, is offering this opportunity to complete a 9-unit University Extension course to participants of the After School Programs in Region XI (ASP!RE) staff development workshops. UCI Extension Units are "quarter" units of university level academic credit. Nine "quarter" units are usually equivalent to six "semester" units. Students intending to transfer UC Irvine Extension course credits for a degree at another college or university should verify acceptance of the course for credit with that insitution.
